X-rays are performed on most patients who enter the office. Chiropractic x-rays are a way for the treating doctor to see exactly what the bony structures of the affected area look like. Often times x-rays are taken of the entire affected area and the surrounding structures. From these x-rays chiropractic services are easier to prescribe. These x-ray images will give the doctor an idea of what your spinal curvature looks like. Knowing exactly what the bony anatomy looks like prior to treatment will ensure that no further damage is inflicted. If there is a concern after the x-rays are reviewed your doctor will ask for additional information from an MRI.
